Raylan Givens has returned
“Justified,” which finished its sixth season in 2015, will return on FX in an eight-part revival dubbed “Justified: City Primaeval.”
The newest episode, which is set in Detroit, details Raylan’s (Timothy Olyphant’s) connection with Willa Givens, his teenage daughter, who is portrayed by Vivian, 20, Olyphant’s real-life daughter.
“Not because of the character, but because of the people that I was working with and how much I had enjoyed being in their company, let alone being able to collaborate with them,” Olyphant said in January during a panel that he felt a “very deep sadness” when the original programme ended. I sobbed uncontrollably on that final day. Additionally, he stated that he would be open to returning the character in later seasons.

Regarding her first credited role on the panel, Vivian commented, “I was really excited to work with my dad.” “Even just getting ready for the audition was fun, so if that were the only reason I didn’t get the job, I’d be content with that. But I enjoyed working with him a lot.
“I thought we kept a good balance of professionalism and fun,” she continued. “Work hard, then play hard.”

On Tuesday, July 18 at 10 p.m. ET, the miniseries debuts with back-to-back episodes.
